The Eye of York is a green grassed area of the Castle Area in York. The Eye is surrounded by the York Castle Museum , the Crown Court Building and the mound of Cliffords Tower. The area is between the River Foss and the river Ouse. In June 2018 there was a temporary building the Shakespeare
